These cards come as a coordinating set, using the images I colored up at the beginning of The Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge.
I love pretty much any stamp set inspired by the Harry Potter series, so Trinity Stamp’s Magical Wizards and Wizard Friends were no exception.
Since I had the images colored up and cut out ahead of time, I needed to choose a color scheme and layout. Lately, I have been trying to use up my scraps a lot more as my scrap drawer has multiplied into two. So I went searching for papers that would work with these magical cards.
I first came across the light purple galaxy paper and knew there was a holographic sheet from the same paper pad floating around somewhere as well. Then, as my goal was for these to be a set “Hello” cards, I thought Gallery Frame #1 from Hello Bluebird was the right choice. I also used the Hello Friend word die from the same company.
I also used the coordinating Castle Scene Builder and Magical Sentiment die sets from Trinity Stamps.
I added black cardstock to the mix with the holo and purple galaxy, and alternated the color combinations between the three cards.
On the card with the black background, I added some extra interest by using the Lil Inker Designs Quilted Stitched Spirals die.
I love how whimsical and magical these cards look; I think the holographic cardstock really adds a lot.
Thanks for stopping by!
