This cute little gnome is from the MFT You Gnome Me stamp set and I thought it fit perfectly with these patterned papers from Recollections. English Rose Garden and Antique Street were the 12x12 paper pads I used; I was lucky enough to get them at Micheals during one of their $5 sales.
I die cut the papers using Lawn Fawn's stitched rectangle stackable and a flag die. I then layered them on a 110 lb white card base.
I stamped the adorable little gnome with Versafine ink and embossed the image with clear embossing powder onto Canson watercolor paper. I used Zig brush markers to color the image. I chose corresponding colors to the patterned paper for the flowers in the pot.
For the sentiment, I used the stamp that came in the set, which originally said "For A Friend Like Gnome One Else" and masked off the word "Friend." I wanted to use the "Mom" stamp that comes in the Mom + Me stamp set by Lawn Fawn, but it was too big to fit in the space. So instead, I used the stamp as reference and wrote in the word myself.
Finally, I added some cute little buttons as embellishments.
Thanks for stopping by!
