Creepy Cafe

I came across Oddball Stamps on Instagram and was immediately drawn to the unique creepy/cute style of her illustrations. As I was browsing the digi store, this café image caught my attention.

I printed it out on Canson watercolor paper and colored it with Prisma watercolor pencils.

I added a monster and a piece of candy from a pack of Dress It Up Halloween buttons to the front of the café and glossy accents to all the windows and doors. I turned the main window on the image into a shaker by cutting it out, gluing in a piece of acetate, and adding pink, blue, and purple seed beads to the inside.

Instead of a card, I turned this image into a wall hanging. I ruffled a black satin ribbon around the edges of the image. Then I popped up the main image onto a piece of patterned Halloween cardstock, with some fun foam. I made the whole thing sturdier by adding 110 lb. cardstock to the back of the entire piece.

Finally, to create the hanger, I added a loop of the same black ribbon to the back.

Thanks for stopping by!
