I am in love with this gnome set from My Favorite Things. I always find myself drawn to these adorable little characters, so naturally I had to color some up.
I stamped them with Versafine ink on some Canson watercolor paper and I used Zig real brush markers for the coloring.
It just turned out that I gravitated for autumn colors that day, which happened to match perfectly with the Woodland Forest paper pad by Pebbles.
For the card layouts, I just paired several patterns from the paper pad in different arrangements. I used my Fiskars 9" paper trimmer to get the different shapes, as well as my corner rounder.
Sometimes I think I think to hard about a card when really some cute layered patterns and adorable images do the trick.
I know a lot of times with all the options out there like distress inks/oxides, dies, masking, embellishments, etc., I can get a little overwhelmed. But it was nice to just make up some cards relatively quickly and I'm super jazzed about how they turned out! :)
Once I had the front panels complete, I just attached them to some premade Recollections card bases with my ATG gun.
For this last card, I colored these images with my Blick Studio brush markers and layered an extra panel of 65 lb black cardstock to bring the whole card together.
Thanks for stopping by!
