Ever since I found the DCWV Good Eats paper pad at JoAnn's, I was hesitant to use it (bit of a hoarder of cute craft supplies I'll admit), but I knew it would pair perfectly with Lawn Fawn's Let's BBQ stamp set.
I used most of the images from the stamp set and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on Canson watercolor paper.
I used Lawn Fawn's stitched rectangle stackables to cut out the main panel from an adorable sheet from the paper pad. Then to break up the pattern a bit and make it a little less busy, I layered a piece of black cardstock and a simpler pattern from the same paper pad.
I used a white Uniball signo pen to make the sesame seeds stand out on the hamburger bun and added the steam lines from the stamp set to the steak.
I saved my sentiment for the inside, which I added the "Happy Father's Day" to from the Dad + Me stamp set, also by Lawn Fawn.
I think this card could also make a cute invite for a bbq or summer party, as well as a masculine birthday card!
Thanks for stopping by!
