Spooky Birthday

Halloween came and went so fast, I didn't even get a chance to make a post about this card.
It was a pretty quick and simple card made using:
-Distress Oxides
-Digi stamp from MKBdigitaldesigns (linked below)
-Tree die from Tim Holtz Ghost Town Halloween Thinlits
-DCWV Ghost Stories 6x6 paper pad

I ink blended the distress oxide background with Black Soot, Mermaid Lagoon, and Cracked Pistachio onto a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock with Ranger blending tools.
I cut the panel down to 5.25"x4" and added some of the trees cut using the Tim Holtz die and 110 lb. black cardstock.
I printed out the digi stamp and colored it using alcohol markers. I fussy cut it out and lined the edges with a Memento Tuxedo black marker.
Once everything was glued down to the front panel, I added it on top of an A2 sized piece of patterned cardstock from the DCWV paper pad.
Then I went around the edges with some Tea Dye Distress Oxide.
Because this creepy card was inspired by The Ring, I added the sentiment "I hope your birthday is S-well!" to the inside of the card.
And that's it! I think it makes for a creepy cool and unexpected birthday card.
Thanks for stopping by!
